On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you. Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. I'm certain that all the drivers hired for these tours are great but if you get a chance to request one, ask for Mauricio! Maurcio was a pleasure to be with during our ride. We left Taxco and headed back to Mexico City. We enjoyed walking around, shopping and had lunch at a rooftop restaurant, which had some of the most delicious farm-to-table type of food we had throughout our trip. Taxco is a very small pueblo with a lot of History. He told us where to meet him after we explored the area and had lunch. We got the the downtown area and Mauricio dropped us off. Taxco is an amazing place with amazing food! The ride from Cacahuamilpa to Taxco was about an hour. We walked over to one of the little stores and got some adult beverages and enjoyed some homemade snacks. After coming out the cave (about 4 miles walking distance to and from), we were greeted by food and beverage vendors. I would suggest you were comfortable shoes, and bring water. The caves have a lit up path and you can only go so far in as when you reach the end, it turns you around. We were part of a tour but decided to leave the tour and go on our own as we couldn't hear the guide well. Mind blowing to see all the natural formations that took place inside the caves. We saw bats at the entry of the caves, which was pretty cool. Mauricio told us to take our time and he would wait for us outside. We got safely to our destination and waited to go inside the caves. The ride from Mexico City to Cachuamilpa was about 2 hours. He was mindful as well, as he made stops to give us a bathroom break. Our driver Mauricio Becerril was the best! He was punctual, very courteous & patient with us. I think it starts with the driver, who sets the tone for the trip. This was a trip that was worth every dollar! And a review that is long overdue :)
